Hi,

I'm new to OMAP Processor Usage. Can any one give me clarity on the following questions

For OMAPL138 Booting Process i see multiple points in ti manuals and wiki - could not get the clear idea on how the process goes.

On Reset in OMAPL138, which boot ROM Code will execute ? DSP or ARM ?

Will DSP ROM Code, initiates the ARM Boot Loader ( U-boot ) ? Once ARM Booting is done, does it wakes up DSP in bootloader itself ?

What does AISGEN tool do ? I see it combines UBL and U-Boot and creates AISGEN Uboot Image. If i download this image on Flash of the board, on reset which ROM code calls this - is it DSP ROM or ARM ROM ?

Do we have a default code residing in OMAP ? Can AISGEN tool program the ROM of ARM/DSP ?

Hi Sudhakar,

Thanks for the reply. I have refered the pdf given by you. I see only ARM Boot information in the document.

But i could not get the info about DSP Boot Loader and DSP ROM Code. How does ARM boot loader initializes the DSP ?
