Storing a program into the DSP

Hi,

Normally I go to the Debug View, Load Program and Run. Now I would like to store a program into the DSP so I can execute it without needing the CCS. Is this possible?

Regards,

Guillermo.

  • Guillermo,

Yes. You can write your program to one of a variety of non-volatile memory devices, then change the boot mode to boot from that device.

Each of our DSPs has a bootloader document, and our MCSDK 2.x has software tools to help you with building a boot image that can be "burned" to Flash or EEPROM.

For more information, please refer to those documents and libraries for whichever TI DSP you are using. And the EVM will come with information on which bootable memory devices are available to you.
