Displaying text and characters on OMAP-L138 Experimenter Kit LCD

Hi guys,

I have OMAP-L138 Experimenter Kit that came with with LCD on it.
I managed to display pictures and now I'm trying to display numbers and characters. I imagine that building the English vocabulary pixel by pixel is not a great idea.

Can you throw me some idea about a good way of doing it?

    I'm working on the same problem. I have to display picture and chars on omap l138 experimental kit. Would you mind giving me some clues how to do it? You have written that you managed to display pictures.
