Automation of FLASH v1.6.0.0 utility for programming the NAND

Hello All,

We are using FLASH v1.6.0.0 utility for programming the NAND (for flashing the WinCE image onto NAND). We are flashing it using through USB.

Is there any options to make run these FLASH v1.6.0.0 utility commands using DOS prompt?

In production, we would like to automate the flashing of NAND by running a batch file etc. I am wondering whether we can automatically program all the images of WinCE by running a batch file which intern runs the instructions of FLASH v1.6.0.0 utility.

Thank you in advance for the reply.

Though I'm having hard time getting exactly v1.6 of Flash to work with my board, my guess is you should look for OMAPFlash.exe utility in Flash v1.6 install path. I have it in c:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\Flash v1.5\  As far as I understand this utility is what does the job, while there's also a GUI wrapper. You can find command line arguments for OMAPFlash in GUI's "Output" window -- they are the first thing that gets printed once you've clicked "Go" button.  I've tried that with my v1.5 and it worked.
