Force DSP stop/reaload using Ipc_control (OMAP-L137)

Hello,

is it possible to force a DSP stop or reload using "Ipc_control" or any other API-Call of IPC or SYSLINK from a GPP without waiting for the synchonization of both processors by "Ipc_CONTROLCMD_STOPCALLBACK"? So is it possible to hard stop and reload the DSP from GPP?

It is hard to get SYSLINK completely recovered, when the application on the HLOS crashes and teh SYSLINK components are not cleaned up correctly. Is there any possibility to get to a clean state of SYSLINK and the corresponding DSP? In most cases unloading and reloading the Linux Kernel Module of SYSLINK helps but is there a more comfortable way to do this?

Thanks in advance!

With regards,

Dom
