I have planned to design android device with reference of AM335x EVM dev board OS is ANDROID ICS. i guess they are using two number of 256MB DDR2 RAM. Regarding this i need advice in following tasks
1. Can i use single piece of 1GB RAM instead of 512MB RAM.? if i use 1GB RAM it Will speed up my device or 512 & 1GB RAM have same speed.?
2. Can i use DDR3 RAM it will speed up my device.? if its speed my device do i have to add any additional hardware for DDR3 RAM..?
I need clear idea about DDR2 or DDR3.? and 1GB or 512MB RAM.?
I dono its right place to ask this question, if its not kindly advice me the right place.
