LCD daughtercard TMS320C6713

Hi,

I intend to interface an alphanumeric LCD to the DSK. I was advised to physically connect the LCD to the DSK via a daughtercard.

Any options of daughtercards for me to do this? I searched a HPI daughtercard for 6713 DSK and costs 90$. Are there cheaper alternatives?

I'm not aware of cheaper options.

There is also a Wire Wrap Prototyping Module for DSP Starter Kits (DSKs) from Spectrum Digital's website that could also be used.

You have to make your own daughtercard. Don't try using the HPI daughtercard for this - it isn't even close to what you need.

The prototyping board mentioned in the previous post might be useful as a basis on which you can build the necessary interface circuitry. Otherwise, you have to make a custom printed circuit board. You should seek the help of an electrical engineer with experience in interfacing digital equipment.
