OM4460 DPI

Hello.

I try to run last TI's tag of Ubuntu kernel 1485.2 on Variscite's OM4460 SOM. I use 12.04 armhf rootfs via NFS

It looks like DPI support completely broken. I tried to use omapdrm module and omapfb. In both cases i got different OOPS.

Have you tested this tag with DPI (generic_dpi_panel driver)?

Kernel from dev.omapzoom.org is developing by TI but not Variscite.

Hello Egor,

The generic_dpi_panel is jsut that, a generic driver. You will need to create a DPI driver specific to your panel, for your board. On Blaze the only 'panel' we that is connected via DPI directly to OMAP4 is the picoDLP, and most of the Blazes shipped currently do not come equiped with a picoDLP. This is the reason there is no reference DPI driver tested on a TI platform in the mainline TI software, so this question is board specific.
