Cropping captured Video

Hello, I am using RDK 2.80.0.10, and would like to add support in RDK for other input resolutions. I would like to know if I can insert a padded video, and then using MCFW crop the capture video before encoding it. Best Regards, Ran

Ran,

Cropping of an image can be implemented with a EDMA transfer if needed.

Hi,

Cropping cannot be done for multichannel capture in the capture pipeline.

Hi Brijesh, Thanks for the answer. I understand from your answer' that in the capture-encoding chain I can't do cropping using MCFW API. Is it possible to make padding in the display pipeline ? Regards, Ran
