Dm8148 RGMII timing diagram in datasheet

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320DM8148

Hello all,

I am trying to decipher the timing diagram in the TI8148 (DM8148) datasheet for the RGMII mode with and without internal timing enabled.

There appears to be an error in the setup and hold timing tables; For example with the internal delay enabled the setup+hold time window is 1.0+1.0ns. Yet with the internal delay disabled, the setup + hold time window is reduced to -0.5 + -0.5 ns .. ie a 1ns window.

If I'm not mistaken (and I may very well be) the timing window should just slide left/right with respect to the clock edge as the internal delay is enabled/disabled.

Is it possible that the -0.5 and1.0ns values for one of the entries is transposed from what it should be?

FYI, I'm referring specifically to
