E10/100 Ethernet in C6678

Hi,

In EVM C6678 Marvell giga bit PHY used. SGMII1& MDIO is used as interface between C6678 & PHY.

I want to use E10/100 configuration with C6678, How interface needs to be done?

Also Specify RJ45 connector industrial standards.

    The Marvell Phy used is a 10/100/1000 phy and will communicate over 10/100 if you want to program the DSP to connect to it at 10/100.

    I'm confused about your question on the RJ45.  This RJ45 connect is an industry standard RJ45 connector.  For details I'd suggest looking at the industry standards.

    Hi,

    The interface to a 10/100 Ethernet PHY would still have to be SGMII.  That is the only interface to the Ethernet subsystem provided on the C6678.  Note that the Marvell Gbit Ethernet PHY used on the C6678 EVM still supports 10/100.  The PHY will negotiate with the endpoint to determine the line speed.
