How do I get gcc onto the psp?

Hello

I have an AM335x EVM. I would like to compile packages natively on the board, but I cannot find gcc in the file system image 'ti-sdk-am335x-evm-05.04.01.00". How do I get it installed so I can run gcc, make, etc. when I am logged in to the EVM through the serial port?

I need to do this because using CCS to cross compile is fine for some programs, and I have been using it, but some packages have complicated make files and installs that really need to be run natively on the machine.

We do not support native GCC. However, I would encourage you to look at the following section of the Software Developer's Guide to learn how to configure your system for cross compilation outside of CCS.

I am trying to install a cross compiled version of coreutils. The install requires a native gcc for "make install". Has anyone has any luck cross compiling the gcc toolchain. It seems the bin utils have been built.
