build C6EZAccel for DM814x: BIOS needs to be patched for SDSCM00004525

Dear all,

I build ezsdk_dm814x-evm_5_04_00_11 successfully and find it has no C6accel.

Then I download c6accel and compile it, but get some error while compling:

"Makefile:140: Your BIOS needs to be patched for SDSCM00004525!
Makefile:140: *** Please copy /home/jw/working/ipnc/appro/ezsdk/ipnc/component-sources/bios_6_33_02_31/packages/ti/rtdx/package_export.xdc to /home/jw/working/ipnc/appro/ezsdk/ipnc/component-sources/bios_6_33_02_31 /packages/ti/rtdx/package.xdc。"

Can you tell me how can I get the patch for SDSCM00004525? Now I can't find "packages/ti/rtdx" in my bios_6_33_02_31.

RTDX is not supported anymore by TI and it is removed from SYS/BIOS 6.33. I'll have to ask around to find out if there is a version of C6accel compatible with SYS/BIOS 6.33.

C6Accel is not being actively maintained anymore, so it won't work with the latest versions of SYS/BIOS. Here is the Wiki page with more information and recommended replacements: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/C6EZAccel.

Under 'General Usage Support' you can find a list of forums where C6Accel related questions are posted. There could be threads there about switching from C6Accel to some of the supported alternatives, but I am not familiar enough with that software to tell if it's really the case.

Actually I want to use the OpenCV in C6ACCEL, is thre any other component support OPenCV in it?

I don't know much about any of the mentioned software packages. You'll probably get more answers if you ask that questions in some of the forums recommended by the Wiki page in my previous message.
