Install strace on AM1808 board

Hi all,

my system is

HW: AM1808-EVM from LogicPD rev.A
sdk: 05.03.02.00

I don't find an utility packet to install the strace command on the EVM. Is it possible to do that and in wich way?

I have downloaded from sourceforge the strace-4.7.tar.xz file.

I tried to carry out ./configure -host=arm.linux but there is the "error: invalid use of undefined type `struct pt_regs'" error.

What is that?

Domenico,

Try cross compiling strace. You can find more information on using the SDK for cross compilation at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Sitara_Linux_SDK_GCC_Toolchain

I would also recommend using the latest SDK.
