SYSBIOS Timer for DM816x

Hello SYSBIOS support team,

We had DM816x customers using the SYSBIOS and they see the Timer is supported in our SYSBIOS.  This is great but when they check the DM816x Data Manual, they see the Timer is not supported.  Could you let us know SYSBIOS has validated the Timer so the DM can modify it to support?

    Hi Viet,

    The ti/sysbios/timers/dmtimer/Timer module provides basic timing services to SYS/BIOS and has been tested in our regression suite.

    If you need a timer to perform other services that aren't handled via the SYS/BIOS' API set, then the timer needs a custom implementation to be provided by the customer.
