One of my customer bought AM335xEVM and we evaluate boot time with variety kinds of sdcard.
There are some different symptom that i can't understand.
1. The android demo sdrcard ( 8G class 4 ) that comes with evm takes 32 seconds on boot. but if I dump to the other sdcard ( class 6 ) boot time takes 42 seconds.
Why makes it different? it just different class.
2. I tested different capacity of sdcard with prebuit image that release from TI.
Micro sd card 8GB (class 2) takes 1min 6sec.
sd card 8GB (class 6) takes 1min 6sec.
Micro sd card 4GB (class 4) takes more than 2 min.
Micro sd card 4GB (class 2) takes more than 2 min.
Micro sd card 2GB (class 2) takes more than 2 min.
In this case also different symptoms. it is affected by different capacity.
Could you please explain this different?
3. What's the new source code?
The android demo image that comes with EVM marked with v2.1.1A and TI release site marked with v2.1.1.
Usually TI site is newer but i don't know why EVM source package marked with A. I look through the wiki but I couldn't find any clue.
4. EVM connect to PC through USB and boot with demo image.
PC looking for the usb driver but it failed.
How to recognize the usb driver?
please let me know these questions.
