OMAP4: Manual White Balance with OpenMax function

Hi,

There are OpenMax function that allows for manual white balance adjustment on OMAP4 - question is this functionality been tested? Currently, the function has no effect on WB adjustment.

    Hi Prateek,

    Could you please tell me which software release and hardware platform you are using to test this feature?

    Are you referring manual white balance adjustment as setting WB modes such as Incandescent, Tungsten etc., as you can adjust them on a Camera Application? This kind of feature is already supported and you can see the effects change in the camera application on any of the ICS releases itself.

    Do you also require setting specific color temperature using manual white balance adjustment?

    Hi Venkat,

    We are using Ducati 2.0 on OMAP4430.  Here is the problem that Prateek is trying to describe. We are trying to use manual color temp adjustment via the OpenMAX interface.  Without loading dcc files, they appear to be functional.  Once dcc file is loaded, the manual color temp adjustment has no effect.

    AWB DCC file has color gain values for all user modes. It looks like in your case gains are not set correctly. Try adjusting these values to get desired effect of manual WB mode setting.
