wvdial issue on client machine

Hi All,

I Configured wvdial(.ipk file)and all dependency files on client machine. after that i am giving command which wvdial , then its given /usr/bin/wvdial. that means i installed succefully wvdial.

Then i am giving  wvdial on terminal, i am getting the following msg.

/ # wvdial

--> Cannot open /dev/modem: No such file or directory                           
--> Cannot open /dev/modem: No such file or directory

 If i give wvdialconf on terminal i am getting below msg.

Sorry, no modem was detected!  Is it in use by another program?                 
Did you configure it properly with setserial?
