DM8148 VIN1B problem

Hello,

I'm using the VIN1B port to capture 8 bit BT 656 video from an Analog Devices codec. I've verified that the codec has detected the incoming video correctly, and is generating the correct 8 bit data stream (as far as I can confirm with some assumptions on what the VIN1B port is expecting...).

The codec is configured to output sep. syncs as well as embedded for verification and I can confirm the correct CLK, H  and VSYNC signalling.

Unfortunately, the VFCC test app never receives a frame. It configures correctly as an 8 bit port, but then waits on data to fill the buffers.

One thing I've not been able to clarify though from the reference schematics is whether the "DE" signal needs to be tied high even if using embedded syncs? Right now we don't utilise DE/FLD and rely on embedded syncs.

Has anyone been able to get the VIN[0/1]_B ports running? Any special steps or versions of OpenMax that you had to use?

Thanks

Ian
