Customer question;

Does the DM8168 video port support a free running clock or is the clock used to signal that data on the inputs?

    Hi,

    Is this about Video capture port pixel clock or video display port pixel clock. Both sides free running clocks. Data is latched at the clock based on control signals like Hsync, Vsync, FID and DE. Bot capture and display suports BT656, BT601 and BT1120 signalling.
