MDIO interface

Hi,

on my custom board, we have 4 DSP C6678 and connecting to Marvell quad PHY 88E1240 which has only one MDIO. how do we hook up the MDIO bus to 4 DSP?

Hi Bonzai,

You will have to pick one of the DSPs as the master device and connect the MDIO interface to that part. You can't have multiple masters on the MDIO bus.

how am I going to connect the other MDIO bus for the other 3 dsp? leave them as unconnected?

The other three MDIO/MDC pins can be left floating or, for lower leakage, pulled high.
