x-loader/u-boot for AM3703

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3703

Greetings,

I am currently using the TI SDK for AM37x  EVM as the baseline for a custom AM3703 board utilizing discrete Micron NAND and DDR (instead of POP).   Just wondering if someone can suggest a configuration withint the TI SDK for AM37x  that would do the trick, or a repository for an x-loader/u-boot that utilizes discrete Micron NAND and DDR.

Thanks in advance for any information on this.

  • To my knowledge, there is not an evaluation platform that a board configuration would be implemented to which uses discrete NAND and DDR.  Therefore you would need to either modify the appropriate files in the EVM setup to use the SDRC and GPMC configuration register settings that you created from the spreadsheet eluded to above.  That spreadsheet just handles the SDRC side of things.  There isn't a spreadsheet calculator for the GPMC, unfortunately.
