How check pcb with 6726 before programming?

I obtained pcb with 6726 from production. I must to check that pcb works and send it to programmer in another town. There are free version CCS v5 on my computer and I have  XDS100. XDS100 not support 6726.  I get XDS510. But free version of CCS not support XDS510. Is exists some method to check pcb? Evaluation license for CCS for example?

  • Constantine,

It is my understanding that every version of CCSv5 from 5.1 and later will support all products and emulators. If the XDS100 drivers do not support your DSP, then you will not be able to take advantage of the free licensing available with the XDS100 and the simulator and the various EVM/DSK boards with on-board emulation.

You do have free access to a 90-day license that will work with all emulators, so this would include the XDS510. If this is enough time to checkout your PCB, then you have what you need. If you need a longer-term use, then you can purchase the license for a reasonable fee. Please see https://estore.ti.com/Software-Development-Tools-C10.aspx .

  • Yes. I downloaded latest version of CCS and obtained evaluation license. Result is reached.
