C6748 FAT File System in SYS/BIOS on SD/MMC Card

Dear TI,

I was working on integrating your FAT FS with SYS/BIOS but do not see all the features of a typical FAT FS. With that being said, I was curious if there is a roadmap plan for what features will be implemented with TI's FAT FS? Also, do you know of any good third party file systems that integrate well with SYS/BIOS and the C6748?

Can you be more specific on the features that are missing? Which version of SYS/BIOS are you using?

Just for clarifications, FatFS is already integrated with SYS/BIOS (since it is delivered with SYS/BIOS). Do you mean integrating FatFS with your application.

I was looking for the following features:

1.) Multiple partitions

2.) fdisk support

I have implemented FatFS but TI's implementation seems to be FatFs R0.08a. Is their a timeline or feature set for subsequent releases?

The FatFS with SYS/BIOS does support multiple partitions, but requires a rebuild. You can find the details in this post: http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/bios/f/355/t/202584.aspx

There is no current timeline for enhancements for FatFS.
