DTMF Detection (VOLIB) sample rate

I am looking to replace our existing DTMF detector with the one in the VOLIB package. Normally these detectors assume an 8KHz sample rate used for Telco applications. My question is can this sample rate be adjusted in VOLIB to something higher (ie 16/32/48 KHz) or will the samples have to be decimated/filtered down to 8KHz?

Hi David,

My understanding is that the DTMF detector in VOLIB does assume an 8K sample rate - but I'm checking to be sure.

Hi David,

I've gotten verification that the tone detector does require 8KHz sample rate data, and so won't handle higher sampling rates unless the data is downsampled first.
