TMS320C6472 SILICON REVISION

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6472

Hello,

I'm using the TMS320C6472 DSP(8 cores).

The first three letters on the second line of the printing on the chip is "N21" which means that the silicon revision of the chip is 2.1.

When i read the ID register of the device using JTAG i see that the first four bits are "0000" which means that that the chip is silicon revision 1.0!

Someone can help me? what this inconsistency can mean?

Thanks in advance,

Menachem
