Hi Team,

i was able to integrate the battery to ICS, but the remaining time does not show correctly , can any one tell me in which file the remaining the remaining time of battery calculated , so that i can correct it ,

Are your other parameters (charge %) updated correctly from sysfs?

Hi Arun,

yes . it shows my current battery capacity, in percentage (%) , the capacity function returns the battery capacity in % to the sysfs, and its updating the correct capacity

Hi Dibin,

The remaining time is not shown in most of the android phones or tablets as I notice.

I think the Android framework is not capable of keeping track of this information.

Have you come across any reference platform where this is possible?

i am using android 4.0.3 TI-Android-ICS-4.0.3 sources, and the remaining time shows at the settings , battery

it shows the time remains in only 2 mins

I'm using Android ICS and battery fuel gauge IC is bq27500. How to integrate this IC with my kernel?

I've enabled the CONFIG_BATTERY_BQ27x00=y. But i guess its not enough.

What are the modification have to do in board-am335xevm.c and other files kindly let me know.
