Bad Video performance with AM35x and WinEC7

Hi,

our AM35x board has very bad video performance with WinEC 7. I use the following video to test the performance:

Video-Codec: H.264

Video Size: 480x356

Framerate: 24 frames per second

Fileformat: MP4

Audio Codec: AAC 44,1kHz

I tested some time ago the same video with the TI eva AM35x board in WInCE 6 and get a much better performance. For my tests I have used the TCPMP player and the windows media player.

Does anybody have an idea what's can be the issue?

Have you tried the same video file on the TI eva AM35X and WEC7? If so is the performance compatible to your custom HW?

I can't try it at the moment, because we have no logicPD board at our office. We have bougth one and I think we will get it in the next week. Then I can try it.

Do you have an idea what's could be the probelm? And which other media player could I try?

Hi,

now I have tried my image on the logicPD board. The video performance is the same, so we can't have a hardware problem.

One more question: Do the applications WinCE Media player and ceplayit use the TI DirectShow filters? I tried to play an *.avi file with H.264 video codec, but ceplayit play's only the audio. Why?
