about virtual display

hello,

              i had and have a dream of constructing my  own low cost virtual display device........but very lack of sources........pls anyone give idea what can i do basically in this step.......i am an 2nd year engineering student.......

    Hi, Manojk,

    I suggest you google around a little. I bet there are tons of hobbyists doing this, posting their results to DIY, blogs, websites, etc.

    hi sir

           i tried few links sir,.........but it is discussed about novelistic ideas there in sites......no site gives exact information about the present works which are going on in this new field......and am a student still.......i don't know what should be the first step at all......confused little bit.............thanks for your concern sir.,,,,,,,,,

    i got a new idea today.....can we use MEMS for this????like we can make a thinner layer of a transparent material and inside that so many mechanical and electric modules which makes it as a display has to be included................it has to be designed in such a way that it floats in air.....and it can come near us when its called.......suggest me anyone.....can we do so???
