DDR3 design in AM335x Starter Kit

Yes, this is to help ensure the lowest power when using the low power modes.  If you are not using low power modes in your design, you can keep the VTT regulator enabled at all times.

 Does am335x Starter Kit Software Support disable vtt and suspend to RAM? Or plan to do?

Sorry: I know It has been a while but I prefer don't open a new thread since my question is related with your answer.

The GPIO is pulled down so I guess that the processor boots with the DDR3 at low frequency (less than 200Mhz i.e) and later turns on the VTT regulator when it needs to increase the frequency: Am I wrong?. I'm prototyping taking as example the starter kit schematics and I would know this point to be sure what to do with the EN pin of the VTT regulator.

Could you please confirm the below?

Was the option to disable VTT added just to save power? Or could the VTT be disabled at all and the DDR3 still operate?
Since we now document in the use case without VTT termination (see page 168 and 175 of SPRS717E) I was wondering if this has been validated on the Starter kit just be disabling the VTT.

Looking at the schematics the only difference I could see would be for CK/CK# where in the case without VTT it should not have termination. I guess that just removing the resistor would be ok and disable VTT would be ok. What do you think?

Has somebody tried to do that already to validate the without VTT use case on the starter kit?
