When will the DM8127 chips come to main market?

It is the time for us to select an advanced chip for our next generation IPNC.We need it has a dsp to do video analyze function,so we want to select between DM8127 and DM8148. From the e2e discussion, I get that the DM8127 is more suit to my application,and Appro has a complete reference design for it. but I also find someone said that DM8127 will be only sold to big volume customers. so I am very care about is it true?if no, when will dm8127 will come to the main market?

    I am exactly in the same boat, but I am asking this for 10 months now here and with my local office and until now I do not have a clear answer.  The same about the DM385. There is a kit for both, but we can not buy the parts?

    Please TI give us a clear answer. If it is for high volume, be clear, tell us what high volume means (1000, 10000000). If it is for specific markets (security cameras only), it is our case, so please tell us how and where to buy this parts. If you do not want to sell this part, tell us that we will go ahead with other thing, but please be clear.

    I am very disappointed with TI in this moment as I never was before with this issues. For me this is the future of the company, because this cameras are the main product, but looks that TI is kidding with us.

    same boat - but only 4 months of asking. 3 months of nothing, then we were told that we had to have a 'special' NDA with TI to be able to get more info?

    I don't know if this is truth - but the NDA has taken over a month to receive from TI (just received today) - and then who knows what this will reveal?

    I would buy a board today if there was one that I could buy!

    I just get a DM8127 IPNC from appro last month,but I can't decide whether I should proceed the DM8127 intelligent camera case or not?
