auto login and enter to specific folder

I use DVRRDK_02.80.00.10 and nfs_DM816x_EVM.tar.gz. And Every time I bootup, I can auto login but need to key in "cd /xxx" command to enter some folder. Is there any way to skip this command?

About the folder change - one way to accomplish that is to add "cd <desired_folder>" in "/etc/profile".
