We are working on TI AM3703 processor based project. The project is in initial phase where we are evaluating two different SOM ( Logic PD and Variscite). Currently we are facing problem with USB OTG interface. The USB OTG works fine when we want to use as USB client but whenever we want to use as USB Host (by connecting USB Pen driver), the pen drive detection is not reliable( Out of 10 times, 2 time the USB pen driver detected). We doubted on variscite carrier board but the problem was noticed even on Logic PD board. This ensure that the problem might be with common code of AM3703 processor.
In line with that, kindly clarify my following doubt,
- Did your any other customer face similar issue?
- Can you look into the issue?
On another topic, we observed that the TI BSP for AM3703 has supported booting via SDCard. The SDCard booting is supported considering file format (xloader, eboot and os image is in file format ). BSP does not provide code supporting SD Card booting with raw mode (not file format). We noticed that the silicon for AM3703 supports both the mode (RAW and File based ). We would like to use the feature for better security.
Do you have any plan to update BSP supporting SDcard booting even with Raw file mode?
