How to make spi device file?

Hi

I want to  use SPI  with DM8168.

 After enabling "McSPI driver for OMAP/TI81XX" and "User mode SPI device driver support" in kernel compile option(make menuconfig), after booting that kernel, there is no /dev/spidev* device file. Why?

 I using linux-2.6.37-psp04.04.00.01.

I get a lot of help in the post below, I could not be resolved.
