Changing video modes for VFDC in omx

I need to change the video modes for the VFDC in omx. I want to be able to use VESA standards (e.g. 1280x1024 @ 60Hz). Can this be done? The documentation lists 4 modes (1080P60, 1080I60, 1080P30, and 720P60). Are more available?

If not, can I do this using V4L2 rather than omx?

Hi,

OMX will also support VESA modes. Document may not be updated. Earlier driver was supporting only 4 modes thats why OMX supported only 4 modes. Now driver support all custom modes and VESA should work.

Hi,

You should follow the code and try to see how its done for other resolutions. You can also go through following userGuide on how to change resolution on Displays.
