Hi,
De-muxing is done by the video port, it is not done by tvp5158. TVP5158 muxes multiple video streams and sends it ver 8bit interface.

Hi Brijesh,
I mean how de-muxing is done? Is there any code to do this job in DVRRDK. Or do you mean de-muxing is done by hardware?
Hi,
Essentially, hardware does demuxing and we could store the frame from each channel in a separate buffer.
Thx,
Brijesh
Thanks Brijesh,
One more question, how the buffer is handled? Would you please point out the code handle this?
Shane
Hi Shane,
McFw API takes care of buffer handling, i could not get what you want to understand.
Thx,
Brijesh
Hi Brijesh,
I'm sorry I didn't make my question clear. I want to understand how the backend CPU handle datas output from TVP5158. Where do those codes locate?
Thank you!
Shane
Hi Shane,
This has been taken care by the VPSS firmware, please contact you local TI FAE to get the details about this firmware.
Thx,
Brijesh
