Win CE Boot Sequence Validate

Hi

I am able to boot my OMAP L138 EVM kit using 4 GB HDSC Card having WIN CE6.0 RTOS.

The last few lines of status on TERA TERM are as under, please validate successful booting.

    Does the device boot to the WinCE shell? Can you get into the standard WinCE items like explorer?

    It looks like it is trying to start an app but fails.  I would check to make sure the xamlperf.exe and \windows\bounce.xaml is included in the nk.bin file if you are trying to start that application at boot up.

    My kit is not having LCD display, I just ordered one from PD Logic, prob will receive it in couple of days.

    I followed steps as mentioned in TI website as getting started guide for win CE.

    how exactly it can be confirmed that xamlperf.exe and \windows\bounce.xaml are included in the nk.bin.

    I am working on making OMAP L138 EVM as stand alone boot up board.

    Have enabled the Retail Messages from within the boot loader?  I would expect more retail messages on the serial port.

    The quickest way to find out if xamlperf.exe and \windows\bounce.xaml are included in the image is to open the nk.bin file in VS2005/Platform Builder.  From there you can see the binaries content and you should be able to find those files under with in the nk.

    following two files were included, the portion of code from the text file are as under....

    for xample.exe

    Hi

    I have got LCD finally

    It seems Win CE is booting fine, the photograph of desktop on full boot up is as under

    but when I am opening mp3 file the following error screen is popping..

    "cannot '\sdcard\anjana anjani\02-hairat.mp3'.please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again. (0x8004022f)"


    please suggest source of error.
