Disable networking during boot - Arago

Dear All,

I'm using DM368 reference design SW version 4.0.0 (Arago kernel 2.6.37) and I would like to disable networking during boot.

I explain : 

When the system is booting, It is accessible throught the ip adress fixed in the u-boot bootargs parameters and then (at the end of the boot), the system reconfigure the network ip adress by the adress stored in the configuration file.

Is there anybody that could tell me the most elegant way to disable network till it is configured with the ip in the config file.
