Hi

I want to diffrentiate whether the mic is connected in MMIC or SMIC

Is there any Registe in TWL6040 which indicates MIC is connected

    Hi Kavitha,

    There is nothing to detect if MMIC or SMIC are connected, this lines are for build in mics purposes, not to plug/unplug mics.

    For plug/unplug mic you can use the handset lines and the accessory connector detection lines.

    For more information you can take a look into the Data Manual, to get it you can contact a TI representative.
