Dear colleagues,

I have a design with Stellaris and I am planning to migrate it to AM3352. I did all Stellaris design using Code Sourcery IDE.

Can I also use Code Sourcery as IDE for AM3352 ? In positive case, can I use the Starterware programs in Code Sourcery enviroment as Stellarisware way ?

I'm unfamiliar with the Code Sourcery IDE. But the key features of an IDE is an editor tied to a toolchain for the particular architecture you are working on. That basic function should work, so provided this IDE allows you define the toolchain compatible for AM3352 and not the Stellaris one it should work for you. That sounds easy on one level but some things to take into consideration is that if the CS IDE supports a JTAG you will need to change processor initialization files for setup of clocks, DDR etc so you can download code into memory.

I haven't used it but uin't the Code Sourcery IDE Eclipse based?

So is Code Composer Studio 5 and I have used it for both Stellaris and AM335x (among other TI processors) for Stellarisware/Starterware and Linux (on the AM335x only of course).
