Hi,

is there a c function to post a HWI?

I'm searching for a function like CpIntc_postSysInt() from ti.sysbios.family.c66.tci66xx.CpIntc for normal HWIs.
I could not find this functionality in the documentation of ti.sysbios.family.c64p.Hwi and ti.sysbios.hal.Hwi .

Hi Sebastian,

You can use Hwi_post() to post a Hwi.

FUNCTION SIGNATURE:

Void Hwi_post(UInt intNum);

ARGUMENTS

intNum — ID of interrupt to generate

We are using SYS/BIOS 6.33.05.46 on a Linux system and Hwi_post is not documented in Help->Help Contents.
I appended a picture of the documentation to this post. Seems, that only the documentation is missing.

You are right it is not documented. Now that you mentioned I remembered it is not a public API. It is an internal API used for test purposes. I edited my previous post to indicate the same.
