pinmux for video in/out

Hello,

In HDVPSS firmware there is initialization of video in/out pinmux. I would like to ask if HDVPSS must initialized the pinmux for video in/out or can it be moved to ARM side.

It can be moved to ARM. Please note that before you start using video in/out, the pinmuxes should be setup.

I am using RDK. Can it still be moved to ARM as Sujith suggested ?

Yes,

This can be done

Change below line to

- platformInitPrms.isPinMuxSettingReq = TRUE;

+ platformInitPrms.isPinMuxSettingReq = FALSE;
status = Vps_platformInit(&platformInitPrms);
UTILS_assert(status == 0);

Above line change will make sure that pinmux is not done in M3 binary.

Now you need to do add the pin mux in A8 Linux code.
