I read the document in release note of starterware 2.0.0.7 , there is a line 

What is Not Supported

  • J-Link Emulator: Using J-Link to download and debug executables with IAR IDE
but in the other link (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335X_StarterWare_Environment_Setup#IAR_Embedded_Workbench_6.10_Projects) , introduce the debugging and download with jlink

    Hi,

         The line in release notes mentions that download and debug with j-link emulator is not supported as we have not validated it. But still you will be able to download and debug with xds 100v2 emulator.

    We will fix the other link to reflect the same. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for bringing this up.
