Embedded sync sequence support in HD 8 bit multiplexed Video

Gentlemen

We are using the DM8168 for video processing. We need to configure the input capture port to receive 8 bit bus, HD (1080i60) multiplexed video. The format for the embedded syncs, SAV/EAV should be an 8 Byte sequence as per SMPTE 292M. So the sequence should be: FF, FF, 00, 00, 00, 00, XZ, XZ..

So, does the DM8168 support such a sequence?
