: Difference in DSP TMS320TCI6482

In looking at the specification for the TMS320TCI6482, there appears to be a difference in how RSV09 is handled between Rev E to Rev J. Our PCB is designed to comply with Rev E as that was the prevailing spec when the board was designed.  Rev J requires the pin be pulled up. We are not using EMAC and we have pin RSV09 tied to ground.

Can we find out if tying this to ground can cause any problems with the DSP device?

  • Steve,

TCI6xxx devices are not supported on the forum. These devices are not marketed to the general public but only through specific product support teams.  When you engage with TI's marketing team for these products, they are supported through your local Field Application Engineering team.  Please work with them. If you are not sure who your local Field Application Engineer is, please work with your local sales representative to find out who they are.

    Regards,
