EMI test report for the AM335X Starter Kit

Hi, did TI do any EMI testings for the AM335X startere kit? If you have done FCC or CE testings, it will be part of it. My customer wants to get it and review it.

Given that the AM335x Starterkit is unenclosed and is intended for lab/development use only, EMC compliance testing isn’t required.

The kit does include an external power supply (EPS) which has such FCC and CE certifications. If the customer is interested, they need to contact the EPS manufacturer directly for the information

Gary, that means TI does not have the data, as the EMC testing was not done as it's not required. This is what I thought. Just to check.

it states:

TI’s AM335x Starter Kit, which offers complete pre-FCC and CE-certification...

Offers a completely pre- FCC- and CE-certified.

What then does this mean?

"complete" is probably overstated and we're sorry for the confusion. It is true however that the AM335x Starter Kit meets required TI EVM Regulatory Compliance requirements and comes with a CE Mark. If you would like detail concerning our compliance program or the CE Declaration of Conformance statement that is on file for the EVM, please contact your distributor or local TI Sales Representative who can assist you further.

As I replied earlier, EMC testing is not required for this EVM and so we do not have an EMC plot to provide you.
