DVRRDK: Ver 3.0.0.0

HW patch : TVP7002 -> DM8148

TVP7002 set: Embeddes Sync mode 1920 * 1080p @ 60FPS

How to set capture rule of mcfw_api ?

What is the problem of capture rule ?

Capture layout :

Capture (YUV422) (VIP0 16BIT)

DUP

Display0 (On chip HDMI)

This problem happens after system run.

hi yu

now i meet the same problem. m3 reports "overflow detected on vip0". and i wonna to know if you have solved this problem.

can you tell me a way to deal with it?

Hi,

Are you doing scaling while capturing? It could overflow if you are doing scaling and VIP receives short frame..

Also are you using VIP in discrete sync mode? if yes, which capture mode you are usng, ie vsync/de or vsync/hsync. In vsync/de mode, de should be toggling on all lines including blanking lines or last line should be cropped, otherwise you can get overflow on almost all frames.

I did doing scaling while capturing...

now my input is 1080p, and i want to ouput PAL format. i need scaling. would you like to tell me how to use the scaling function. I use dvrrdk on 8148.which capture parameter should i configure?

hi,

there is an output parameter scEnable in the Capture link, just set it to true and set the scoutwidth and scoutHeight to 720,576..
