Hi, at the moment I seem to be at a loss:

at lots of places within the TMS320DM814x DaVinci Digital Video Processors Technical Reference Manual I read the sentence:

Refer to your device-specific data manual

Especially I am interested concerning chapter "1.3.3. Memory Map", which consists of just this:

Refer to your device-specific data manual for the addresses of the memory-map registers.

I am working with EZSDK 5.04.00.11, maybe that document is to be find anywhere there?

Where is the device specific data manual situated?

Hi Joern,

The device specific data manual (DM) is in our DM814x TI product folder: http://www.ti.com/product/tms320dm8148 next to our TMS320DM814x DaVinci Digital Video Processors Technical Reference Manual. We are in progress of releasing a new DM and it should be there next week.

Next to that document I only find TMS320DM814x DaVinci Digital Media Processor Silicon Errata (Silicon Rev 2.1) (Rev. A), which does not contain any memory map information like announced to be found within the "device specific data manual".

Which document there do you mean?

P.S. From your lines it looks as if TI sometimes with the acronym "DM" does mean "Data Manual" instead of "Digital Media"? If so, maybe that was not even the best idea...

Hi Joern,

It is all our false and we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. We removed the DM and plan to upload a new one but it does not goes through. Please check our TI product folder tomorrow or Monday, we should have a new one upload by then.

The document we are reference to is: SPRS647(x) which is TMS320DM814x DaVinci Digital Video Processors Data Manual.

many thanks for this clarification, so I eagerly await this data manual within the very next few days, being hopefully to find some helpful lines there around the correct memory map for this device.
