Mathlib test results and how to use it.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MATHLIB

Dear all:

I just download the mathlib 3.0.1.1 for C674x and have some questions:

1. The library is compiled with CGT 7. 2.0, do the lib back compatible with CGT 6.1.9 (or CGT 6.1.x) ? Or I need to compile from source code to get my own library?

2. From the  test results, it gives profile for Rts, Asm, C, Inline, Vector, how can we set the compiler option or we need to call different function call to get each result?

For example with atan2dp, I find there are atan2dp, atan2dp_c, atan2dp_i, atan2dp_v, does it mean:

atan2dp: map to Asm result.

atan2dp_c: map to C result.

atan2dp_i: map to inline result.

atan2dp_v: map to vector result.

  • Hi,

The library should be compatible with CGT 6.1.x, but I would suggest you to use CGT 7.2.x. We only tested the library with CGT 7.2.0. You do not need to compiler the library. There is a linkable library under \lib directory.

Your interpretation of the test result is correct.

    regards,

    Yimin
