connect dm6446 to laptop??

I want to connect dm6446 to vaio.

I have RS-232 to USB,but I cant configure hyper terminal........

please help

Hi,

Please ensure that you PC is able to recognize the USB port as an comm port.

After that, please try with following configuration.

Baud Rate as 115200, data as 8 bit, parity none, stop 1 bit, flow control none.

Since you do not have any comm ports, on connecting the USB-Serial converter, a comm port should show up.

i.e. When you create a new connection on the hyper terminal, a comm port should show up.
